ABOUT US

Swords of Mercia was formed in 2011, by five founding members who have been involved in Medieval Re-enactment and Historical Combat for the last ten years. 

Our aim is to provide an accurate and entertaining portrayal of a Knightly foot tournament during the reign of King Edward II. We also offer a number of displays, including interactive activities for all the family. Details of our displays can be found on our Re-enactment page.

Along with  our displays for the public, we also run a Medieval Combat group in which students can safely learn various aspects of medieval Combat with no obligation to take part in our Re-enactment displays. Details of which can be found on our Combat Training page.
