About Buffy Leather

I am an active reenactor with the Swords of Mercia, a Midlands based group covering the reign of Edward II, so an interesting period for armour evolution!

I started making leatherwork pretty much as soon as I started reenacting, being pretty hands on and being brought up by a Mother who was a craft teacher.

​

Pretty soon, people were asking me to make things for them, so I started Buffy Leather.

​

I was fortunate enough to be picked up by the Master Armourer for the Witcher at my first market in 2020, so was able to expand my hobby-job alongside my career as a Sales Director in Printing.

​

After a couple of years of nagging, I gave up my main job to become the full time in-house Armoury Leather worker at the Netflix studios for the Witcher Seasons 4 and 5.

​

I was also fortunate enough to do other film work, notably the Lost King, Gladiator 2 and the new production of Highlander.
